    I don't mean to rub it in, but with winter right around the corner, I am heading south to sunny Arizona.  I want to thank everyone who came to me for guidence this summer with their golf games, I enjoyed meeting all of you and look forward to continuing with many of you in next year.  For the rest of you, I plan on being back here at Coldwater around the begining of May and hope to see you lined up outside inorder to make next season your best season ever!! 



Golf is complicated enough without having a thousand and one thoughts going through your head while you're trying to swing the club.  My sole purpose as a teacher is to cut through the Garbage and Confusion and teach my students how to simply apply the Clubface to the back of the Ball.

Mark is an Ames native, graduate of Ames High School and Iowa State University, and is returning home after spending his winters improving his skills at one of the finest private facilities in Arizona.  Mark is a Certified Nicklaus Academies Instructor- certified by Top 25 Teacher Mike Malaska, Director of Instruction for the Nicklaus Academies of Golf and Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club.  Mark is currently enrolled in the PGA PGM Program, and working towards completion of his Class-A Certification with the PGA of America. 

Mark was introduced to the Game of Golf at an early age, and has made it his life’s passion to educate and instruct golfers of all levels in the virtues of the game of golf.
